I don't know how they operate, and it's been awhile since my husband (FTM) had any interaction with IndyBoyz, but I think the groups are generally closed unless they have an open meeting, where friends, families, partners and allies are invited. I believe both groups are active in Yahoo Newsgroups, so maybe they might have more information. This community doesn't seem to be too active. I joined when we moved from MN to IN, and I've only seen two, maybe three posts in the last 18 months.
Ahh well the site reads "Join us for our monthly meeting! Indy Girlz is a peer-led social and support group for people on the male-to-female spectrum (MTF) and their significant others, friends, family, and allies (SOFFAs)."
we do not usually post online...it is more of a in person sort of group. sometimes there are not enough girlz to have their own group so they join up with the boyz. We talk about whatever the first hour and then usually a topic the 2nd hour and then go out to eat after the meeting.
